Open Enrollment

Applications must include:

• Commitments Form, Family Application Form
• Student Application (6th-12th grade students only)
• Church Reference Form
• Application fee of $150.00 (per family)
      *Enrollment packets will not be reviewed without the application fee.

Enrollment priority is given to siblings of enrolled children.  A waiting list is available for mid-year openings.

 Financial Policy for 2024/2025
 
New Family Application Fee       $150.00
 
Each new family has a NON-REFUNDABLE enrollment application fee of $150.00 when they register for the year.  The application will not be reviewed without the application fee, this fee must be paid by cash or money order.
 
Senior Class Fees     $150.00
 
There is a $150.00 senior fee for each student in the 12th grade.  This fee includes graduation supplies (cap and gown) and certain senior needs not included in regular tuition.  This does NOT pay for a reception after graduation or the senior trip. 
 
Tuition for 2024/2025
 
The tuition for the upcoming academic year is as follows:
Elementary                   $6250.00 per student 
Middle School              $6,750.00 per student
High School                  $7250.00 per student

Orientation

Orientation is the time when students who have completed the enrollment process at WOLCS may come and meet their teachers. Parents and students will review classroom schedules, procedures, and expectations. Orientation is required for all students and at least one parent/guardian. 

​The orientation for 2024/2025 school year will be Friday, August 9, 2022, from 9 am to 11 am. 

Curriculum

 Child-Centered Approach

Word of Life Christian School is a school which is accredited by the National Association of Christian Education. Our teachers and staff work with the students using the Accelerated Christian Education and Teaching Textbooks curriculum.  Each Learning Center has one teacher and most have one teacher's assistant. This arrangement works well with assisting each child's needs.

All students will have assignments and projects to work on throughout the year that are added to the ACE curriculum. Research papers, book reports, science projects, science fairs, community service projects, and many other extra activities are required, not optional. 

Our school prides itself on the values we instruct the children, which is the foundation of a Christian life. They are taught to trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and follow His godly examples. Our teachers and staff attend training seminars each year to help with the improvement of our teaching and our school.

Parent Partnership

Your child's academic future is important to us, and we want to enlist your support as we work together to make your child's school experience a success.  It is our goal that all students reach their maximum potential while at WOLCS.  Therefore, it is important that the administration, teachers, and parents form a partnership to promote our student's academic achievement.  With this in mind, WOLCS expects that parents will communicate with their child's teacher(s) where academic and behavioral actions are concerned.  In addition, it is expected that ALL parents/guardians sign all correspondence and reply to REMIND APP communications.  Please contact the school office to schedule a parent conference at 863-519-5747.
